I'm sure all WHHQ's customers must be equally sick of their pathetic service.
I've actually sent a number of faxes and emails and made half a dozeninternational phone
calls to them. I must have spent a small fortune tryingto get things sorted out. When I
get through they either keep me on holdfor twenty minutes and then tell me everyone is in
a meeting, cut me off"accidentally", or promise they will phone me back and
never do. When ever I did get through to anyone (Gemma Gonzalez who seems to be their only
member of staff other than an answering service) she just acts totally shocked that I'm
having any problems and has to take all my details again then says their "programmers
are working on it and it will be back to normalby the end of the day - definitely".
What a load of *#@!$%^.
I gave up trying to get anywhere with them and signed up with Burlee
Networks www.burlee.com who are one of the top web hosts in the world and one of the few
Microsoft FrontPage2000 Certified partners.
That's the only reason the site is up and I've got my email working
again (a month after WHHQ screwed it up).
My advice is ditch WHHQ and sign up with Burlee (or a similar web host)
who offer 30 days money back AND one month free for anyone transferring. Plus they've got
their own account manager at Network Solutions so the transfers get processed by him the
same day (ie. no delays) and in 48 hours (or less) you should be fully working again. And
most importantly, they've got 24x7 email tech support staff who actually setup new
services, etc
within minutes day or night and email you back confirmation, and they answer any questions
fully. What a world apart they are from WHHQ. I wish I'd never heard of WHHQ - what they
know about customer service, or anything else, you could fit on the back of a postage
stamp.

My site is still up but I dont use their service. I might be listed in there FTP,
but I they do not host my domain. We were intially going to use there service, but they
took over 3 months to send us verification of service which we cancelled. If you have any

Basically, WHHQ is full of crap. No, they never answered any of my emails, and never
returned any phone calls unless I threatened to cancel my service. I did, in fact, cancel
my service, and my site is up only because I am now on another host. I'm still waiting for
my refund from WHHQ, who have promised it is "in the mail" several times now,
just like they promised I would be "back on line this afternoon" for two weeks
running.
And yes, I know their so-called security is also crap. In fact, since I
can't get into them anymore, you can do me a favor by going into the WHHQ server and
deleting my files. All of them.
Good luck. There is no shortage of good, inexpensive webhosts out
there; my advice is get the hell out. Your time is not worth the aggravation.

Yes, the service really STINKS now. They apparently know very little about web hosting.
It's not rocket science. I have been in IS for 14 years and this company is one of the
worst I have encountered to date. The only reason I went with them is because I simply do
hobby html & cgi stuff ant the cheap price. I'm glad I didn't host any of my clients
with them. Their servers to date are simply fucked. The structure has changed completely
and "yes" you can ftp any of my file and most any ones. Just a couple weeks ago
you could actully "modify or delete" them. Scary. I never even got notification
of the change. Hosed me up totally. To date I can barely even connect via ftp at all. What
gives. I would love to know all the info you find out about it if you would be so kind.

out you are on the server by my ftp. I found that I can access ALL the websites on the
whhq.net server. I think this is very unsecure. No I didn't hack in, i just logged into my
ftp and then went on my way. I want to make whhq.net realize how unsecure this is and I
want them to make the server better. Im sure you had some problems with them before.
