It was in early July this year, I was looking all over the net for a low price host.  Anyway, that's when I found WHHQ and signed up hoping to have a good place to put my web and not have to worry about the host putting ads on my site like those free host places.

    I got my site up and running and learned to use their features and server (most which I haved to learn myself cause I never got any answer from WHHQ when I try to ask them questions). 

    But after about a month and a half later,  I started experiencing problems with the server.  It started with my emailing system not working (the one where you goto "www.yourdomain.com/mail" to access.)

    As the weeks goes on it seem to get worst and worst.  (click here for list of problems) And one day I try to get on my site and all I saw was this screen.  My entire site was GONE!  Imagine how pissed off I was.  (actually some of you wouldn't have to imagine cause it happend to you also)

    Not that I don't backup my stuff but some things like "CGI file access attributes" cann't be backedup on a Win98 machine.  Not to mention files generated by CGIs that reside on the host. 

    As mad as I was I was thinking I could always reupload my site again but SURPRISE! I can't even goto my ftp.  A week or two pass and finally I could access the ftp again and was in for even more surprise. The directory structures have changed and none of my files are their anymore.  Did I mentioned that the FTP was SLOOOOW?  So slow that I don't even want to upload my website.

    During the whole ordeal since my email stop functioning.  I emailed WHHQ numerous times and called them.  Guess what? To this day the only email replay I recieved was a "generated confirmation" email.  Yeah what great service right?  Maybe I"m just a "customer" and not a "reseller" and I'm not important enough to respond to.

    Savior came when I was on the ftp and happen to click on the a "parent directory" folder and saw a whole list of their system and client directories.   I was able to view, download, rename etc. anyone's files!   I'm not a superuser so I figure if I can do it anyone can do it.  (talk about high security here)

    Anyway I was able to find a list of their other clients site and started browsing to their sites. I was able to email some of the webmaster (tho most site had that dreaded screen like mine). 

    As it turned out EVERYONE I talked to got screwed over with their pittiful excuse for a server and poor/none customer service.

    Since I finally got some contacts with other clients.  I hope we can work together to settle this sitution and PUNISH WHHQ by either a lawsuit or WHHQ compensating us for the money, time, effort and trouble we put in. 

    They can't just take our $$, not gives us what they advertised,   treat use like garbage.  It's not just he money we paid WHHQ, we spent the time to put our site their, we spent our time researching for a host, the hassle we have to put up with with their server problems, the irritating wait for them to reply to emails.

    You know what really pissed me off?  When you talk to them and they tell you to stay on hold, and  twenty minutes later you're disconnected.

     I bet I'm not the only one that they did this to.  Let's step forward together and make them feel our pain.

    I really didn't want to resort to this situation with WHHQ but what can I do?  The company have been screwing me over for the past two month with their poor service and lack of customer support.

    I'm sure you all feel the same way.  What am I suppose to do?  Sit and let them do this to me?   I already paid them for the services  shouldn't I be entitled to get what I paid for?! 

    I work full time and support myself and I spented alot of precious time looking for a host and working with WHHQ.   Sure I can move to a new host but why should I after I pay my startup fees to WHHQ?   Now I have to spend more time and pay more $$ to move to a new host because of WHHQ's fault? I don't think so.
